- The lifespan of LED isn’t adversely affected by PIR sensors like other type of lighting
- LED is instantly on - unlike sodium lighting
- Cool white LED allows better detail for security camera images and it highlights movement faster
- Install a PIR sensor separately and don't build it into your new LED light – the sensor life is shorter than LED!
- Buy your LED floodlight with cable already fitted. If you have to open your new flood light to connect it you can't guarantee it will retain its IP weather rating
- Good quality and latest generation LED lights should generate over 100 lumens per watt
- With LED floodlights you can choose from different beam angles
- LEDs are available in a range of colour tones
